Calvin Trillin

Calvin Trillin is one of America’s most popular and versatile writers. Since the publication of his first book, An Education in Georgia, he has written with great humor and with a journalist’s eye on topics ranging from politics, crime, and popular culture to food, family, and travel. Trillin has been a staff writer at The New Yorker since 1963, and he is a longtime contributor to The Nation. His recent books include the popular novel Tepper Isn’t Going Out and a memoir about his marriage, About Alice.
